Howdy! We just updated the food truck section of the Eat BCS Dining Guide. We’ve lost a couple trucks and added a few. Following are the 16 we found currently rolling in Bryan-College Station.
Abu Omar Halal
In 2011, Abu Omar (owner and founder of Abu Omar Halal) opened Houston’s first halal food truck. Now they have 10 locations in the Greater Houston Metro, including the Gig ‘Em Mart on Northgate across from TAMU.
Blake’s makes Cheesesteaks, Specialty “Fat” Subs, and Loaded Fries. They’ve kept their Philly Cheese Steak simple just like the steaks you get from Pat’s or Geno’s in Philadelphia.
Cajun to Geaux
Cajun To Geaux is open for lunch Tuesday – Friday at their Hwy 21 location across from Sodolaks Steak House 11a-2p. The popular trailer is also available for private events.
Chef Tai Mobile Gourmet is a fun and inexpensive alternative to high-end food, the innovative gourmet truck’s menu combines Asian Flavor with New American Cuisine.
The heavenly odor of Post Oak Smoked BBQ wafts from their red trailer. In addition to the standards, specialties like pulled pork and even mahi regularly appear on the menu.
Donut Darlin’ will be at numerous local events this fall. Avaliavle for breakfast, lunch, or evening. Email or message on facebook for weddings and events.
Fire Truck Crepes
Fire Truck Crepes have extinguished the appetite of thousands with our beautiful sweet and savory crepes. The back of the truck features a dining area.
The frios rig and scooters bring fresh, frozen, delicious gourmet pops and miles of smiles to your event or to a “pop up” shop hear you! Frios is a true celebration on a stick!
Fusion Peru is known for its flavorful South American and Asian fusion. The Machu Picchu Burger is a legend. They have a bricks & mortar location now. Trailer available for catering and events.
Gig ‘em & Go
Gig ‘Em and Go is operated by TAMU Dining services and can be found around campus. Aggie Bucks welcomed. One of the best deals on campus for a very filling upscale lunch.
Feed yourself, feed the world, for every plate you buy, someone in need gets fed a meal! Stop by the BBQ trailer set up at 400 George Bush for a great plate of ‘cue.
Napa Flats can bring their portable wood-fired pizza oven and gelato stand to your event or tailgate to create a fun catering experience.
Pita Pit’s trailer is serving healthy and fresh pitas on the Texas A&M University campus 5 days a week and out at events on weekends.
Raspas El Payasito
Raspas El Payasito is core to the local food culture, they started the first taco truck in town.
Taqueria Puro Postino
The Taqueria Puro Postino Truck prepares authentic Mexican tacos, tortas, quesadillas, burritos, gorditas, and much more.
Taz Indian Cuisine
Taz has a bricks and mortar location in addition to their food truck. The restaurant and truck are well known locally for delicious, authentic Indian food.
