Mickey’s Slider’s Executive Chef and General Manager learned the art of cooking and running great restaurants while working for two of the best in town: Cafe Eccell and Chef Tai’s. They don’t skimp on quality ingredients or take shortcuts. Everything they do at Mickey’s is from scratch- hand-cut fries, freshly ground and seasoned meats, fresh baked bread each and every day, and sauces all made in house (not using bottled sauce as a base). Their passion for quality and culinary skills add up to a difference you can taste.
Though they just opened, Mickey’s Sliders is already building a solid reputation with 4.5 star Yelp rating and stellar online reviews:
“Anybody who has worked with Chef Tai is going to do good food… And these guys nailed it! I’ve known the GM, Miller, for a few years, and as an old restaurant dog, it always makes me happy to see young guys put out GREAT artisan products. The Venison Chili Fries were killer!! I had 4-12 different sliders that I liked, but they all hit the right flavor buttons, so just try them all.” Charles S. via Yelp.com
“One slider @ $3 is enough to be full, the menu is creative, they have beer, wine, real sodas without the gross HFCS (High Fructose Corn Syrup), I picked a liter of Mexican Coke that was ice cold from an ice bin. A much welcome addition to the BCS Restaurant scene, something new and unique, nice and tasty with what they said will be a rotating menu of special items like exotic meats, and they are open late, late, late like till 3 am on weekend nights.” Greg D. via Yelp.com
“The chicken wing slider is a work of art. Now I hate chicken wings (I know, I know un-American). But this little sandwich gets the little chicken pieces in it right: crunchy, juicy, and with a great sauce. The slaw on top is not overly watery which I love and so the sandwich is not gloppy. The blue cheese is actually very subtle and not overwhelming. This one is my favorite now.” Alex P. via Yelp.com
“Ok so we were headed to wingstop first, but it looked Grody in there, and you can never go wrong with sliders, super clean, fun cute girls, friendly staff. Bomb ass food. We had a six pack of sliders, huge order of fries, venison chili cheese fries and the chilI stuffed potato balls!!! I’m so full and we walked away with three to go boxes.” Nurah H. via Yelp.com
“Visited our sons in CS yesterday and took them for lunch at Mickey’s Sliders. We love the place! We got the 30 dozen, some regular and sweet potato fries and some onion rings. All hot and delicious. Nice atmosphere and decor. Staff very friendly. The chef visited us at our table which was a nice touch. We will be back for more sliders!” AP via Yelp.com
“I’ve been here once and tried the Volcano which was pretty good and the Lonestar which was amazing! Their fries are also really good. I’ve heard great things about the Jerry Garcia (vegetarian), I’ll be trying that next. Also, their fried pickles and fried portobello is great!” Lauren G. via Yelp
