Wayback Burgers, America’s hometown burger joint, serving delicious, fresh burgers made from 100-percent ground beef, hand-dipped milkshakes and more, today announced its newest Texas restaurants, located at 3001 Wildflower Drive in the Bryan Towne Center in Bryan, slated to open this spring, and at 910 William D Fitch Parkway in South College Station, slated to open this summer. The restaurants are the second and third locations owned and operated by local franchisee, Chuck (Texas A&M Class of ’96) and Michele Wilson (Texas A&M Class of ’01), who also operate the College Station location on Texas Avenue across from Kohl’s. Once opened, Wayback Burgers of Bryan and South College Station will add nearly 60 new jobs to the local economy. The two new restaurants mark the 11th and 12th locations announced in the state of Texas.
Wayback Burgers offers delicious, cooked-to-order burgers, available as a single, classic double, triple and triple triple (nine) patty, and rich, thick milkshakes, served in an environment that hearkens back to a simpler place and time – when “customer service” meant something and everyone felt the warmth of the community. Going “way” beyond the burger, Wayback Burgers offers crispy and grilled chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, turkey burgers, fresh salads and delicious sides, including fries, onion rings and House-Made Chips.
“The response to our College Station restaurant has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are thrilled to announce that we will be opening Wayback Burgers locations in Bryan and South College Station this spring and summer,” said Chuck Wilson, local franchisee. “We look forward to expanding our excellent service and top-notch burgers, fries, shakes and more to Bryan, South College Station and beyond.”
“We are pleased to continue the expansion of the Wayback Burgers brand in Texas,” said John Eucalitto, president of Wayback Burgers. “With steady debt-free growth, locations in 26 states and new locations opening at a rate of two to three per month, it’s an exciting time to be a part of the Wayback Burgers brand, and we wouldn’t be able to achieve this level of success without great franchise partners like Chuck and Michele.”
The new Wayback Burgers of Bryan will encompass a 2,066 square-foot design, and Wayback Burgers of South College Station will be 1,750 square-feet in size. Both locations will feature a warm red barn board interior with white and stainless steel accents, modeled after the great American roadside burger joint.
