TAMU Howdy Farm Grows 1845 Pounds of Food, Donates 340

13179281_1094216607305955_3811787656250801510_nBack in the fall of 2015 Texas A&M University’s Howdy Farm, as an organization decided that their farm was doing well enough to begin donating a portion of the food produced food to the Brazos Valley Food Bank.

They felt that their mission to provide nutritious food to the community wasn’t complete without getting fresh produce into the hands of those who don’t have the opportunity or means to buy it directly.

In their opinion, everyone deserves healthy options when providing for their families. Here are the results of their efforts:
